The 5 litre Domestos cartons are deep blue, don't think the smaller ones are HDPE though. Little Yakult cartens are white (at least I think its' Yakult). Motor oil cartens come in various colours and usually HDPE.
I only keep the filtered milk cartons as they are white whereas most others are transluscent.

I've melted some down but not made anything yet.
