Hi guys, anyone have a recommendation/supplier for CA glue,
Also the Ca used to hold in the pen barrels is it the same that is used for finishing with?

I also have a couple of wooden blanks to finish, is CA recommended or is there a different sealer / finished required
Many thanks in advance
Stew

The ca should be fresh & not something that’s been on a shelf for a while. I have no particular brand preference. I prefer a melamine finish to a ca finish using Phil Darts method which you can find on Beaufort Ink website.

You can find Phil's finishing in the tutorials at the top of the page just click on "Tutorials" followed by "Finishes"

Or look HERE

When you get a tube stuck half way through the blank, you'll decide not to glue your tubes with CA again.

So I'll save you some time, Gorilla polyurethane glue for wood, Epoxy 2 part glue for resins.

I don't use CA for finishing, I use it for other things like gluing .... I have a variety I use, and I use them for different applications ... but not for finishing.
