A matching pair of Beaufort Mistrals, fountain pen and ballpoint, made from reclaimed whisky cask from the Glenlivet distillery, finished with melamine.

Wow, you actually turn pens as well as collect them in big boxes on pallets..:tongue:

They look nice, quality finish and shape to boot. Along with some nice grain showing as well..

I decided to kind of ignore it and do my own thing. Worked out more or less the same as the blokes in the tutorial I think.:bwink:

It does when you're turning it - very pokey sometimes. But it fades after a couple of days, and anyway it's got a finish on it, so there'e no "Eau de Whisky" once that's applied.
