Finish; through the grades to 2000 then Ferecla and a polish.

Its a finishing compound Dave.

I have profile 300 and 500 profile. however they have stopped doing them in small tubes now. I have brought some of the G3 scratch remover but doesn't seem as good as the other profile ones..
Used mainly in Automobile/marine finishing.

A nice clean elegant pen Eamonn. I too use Farecla 300 & 500. Gives a good easy to apply finish.
I sand to 400 grit then use 0000 wire wool then Farecla & this gives a good finish.

They seem to be moving over toG3 and G10 now.

Unless anyone knows where its still available as I think its being discontinued mate.

Luckily I still have a tube of 300 & 500 as yet unopened so I can still polish a lot of pens.
I looked on Amazon & saw 5L of Farecla 500, £578.32 + £280 postage. It has to be a joke but it’s listed twice among the G10 & G3 compounds.

Still get the profile 300 in 5ltr tins Bill but the price I have seen as been around £70.

Not seen any small tubes of 300 / 500 for a while now.

I should keep hold of yours if I were you tho Bill.

His n Hers flecked corian slimline pens. One of my first attempts with corian a few months back. I love the stuff, great to turn and polish.
