This is my idea board. I see things that appeal to me and I make copies and put them on the board. As my interests change I add and remove items. The stems on my latest batch of tops comes from some of the finials in these pictures.

We have boards in two places in the house, not for this reason. SWMBO has a thousand Idea books she has created over sixty yrs where she has drawn and pasted her ideas. They are located next to sleeping all through our main room ,then a huge arsenal in the kitchen. I tend to carry mine in my head and when time time permits pursue the plans.

Like your idea but I cant plan too far ahead now with so many challenges day to day. Love your Tops in the pictures.

I have a folder on the computer full of ideas, I print off as I need some for a project

I use one of my cupboard doors in the workshop as a pin board.

If I see a good idea on a forum or utube I either bookmark them or save them to a folder on the PC

I have a few folders on the computer and few note books of ideas etc.

I have stuff hidden drawers to but I forget they are there. This board is directly behind the lathe. All I have to do is look up.
