Yes it's a very active Forum Member who contributes on a regular basis. The elder gentleman in the picture is his father

I have thinned it down quite a bit in telling you it was taken in Malaya whilst the person was living there

It just so obvious who he is ! Well it is to me he sent the photo

Here you go Vic me in 1956 I'm the youngest one in the photo with my dad I'm a lot older now

We've just been scanning some old family slides, location Malaya probably Changi or Penang. He used to look after the RAF Natural history club and they had a small zoo. Might as well do this I cant turn for a while folloing my open heart surgery, especially since they have to go in for a 3rd time!!

Hi Derek Apparently it was Changi in 1956 according to my Dad who is still alive at 95.

Mind you a bunch of onions was a big clue

I'm bored now, I have been banned from lifting any weight till they sew all the muscles back together after they parted following my op, and I've just bought a new bobbin sander to make some new jewellery boxes
