wood and resin

playing around with using resin with aluminium powder and wood and made this ,Apologies for the photo as taken on my phone as battery is flat on my camera.

That just stunning. Hard to believe that's resin and powder, looks metal to me..:thumbs:

Thanks woody ,I have some brass but not used it yet,
one problem I did have is when I tried to polish the aluminium the black residue leached into the wood and I had to turn it back off any idea how to prevent that?

Apply Sanding sealer and polish before you cut and fill the channels with your mixture then carefully cut back the excess with a sharp scrapper
