I've done a search and looked through the forum.

Is there a better finish than melamine and microcrystalline wax for a wooden bottle stopper?
Any ideas other than finish the bottle and not use a bottle stopper. :winking:

Polyurethane is an option. I use rattle can poly and wipe on poly. Both of these methods require longer drying time and light sanding between coats. Once the finish is well dried you could even lightly buff if desired.
