Wood id - ash or wych elm?

Evening all,

Inherited some wood from a retiring turner and i'm not convinced of some of his wood id's.Attached re some shots of one log that he's called Wych Elm, but it looks like Ash -all be it darker than I've seen before. Any thoughts?

Thanks - I’m convinced it’s ash now, maybe olive ash, given that the other ash I’ve got is practically white. Turns really well and the grain is stunning.
