Hello all,

First post here, so thought I'd bring some pens to the table so to speak!

Fairly new at this, but this is a collection of what I've been up to over the last month or so.

I'll try and post them in the order they were made, so you can hopefully see some sort of progression. Any comments and critique would be most welcome

Cheers,

Adam

First 2, 1 maple and 1 bubinga

A couple of oak pens

First attempt at a fountain pen in cherry

Some more oak

One in purpleheart

And finally, one in black walnut

Thanks, photography's not my strong suit (all pics have been taken on a phone camera, and probably will be until I get round to fixing my laptop!) but the DIY lightbox I'm planning on making might help give better pics!

Thanks for showing your progress Adam completing them is giving you some problems fitting the centres and tops, tips to smoothly come together. Squaring the ends helps a lot. Good luck with the box for lighting and the camera stuff this takes time mate.

I am indeed, although having discovered this wonderful place, I thought this may be a more appropriate board to post my pens!

Hello Alan and welcome to the forum mate. Some nice pens you've got there but try and keep the background plain and light so all we see is the pen as it were.

Cheers guys, been called worse in the past!

Skint already, paying for a wedding and about to buy a flat ahve seen to what little I do have!

I make cricket bats anyway, so the money I make from them is paying for this little hobby, while my actual money the NHS pay me is paying all my other bills!
