One or two of you who have dropped around to visit may have seen this completed.
I've had to wait to show this as the build is being featured in Woodworking Crafts Magazine.
The finished shed is now in issue 8, and I can show it later.
In the meantime here is the basic shell.

It's 10' x 8', and already full, but is helping a great deal in my little "cottage industry" of producing usable blanks from green timber.

Looking good Neil
But I think they are breeding. It looks like there is another one on the right hand side

It's an optical illusion Chas.:whistling::funny:

The one on the right is the "burning" shed. Built a few years ago for storing wood to keep us warm in the winter.

The design worked so well in seasoning timber it became the model for the "turning" shed in the picture.

Designed to keep the weather off, not out Bob.
Nothing stored on the inside touches the shell. It's worked for the last 4 years or so in the burning shed, and is working as well in the turning shed. Humidity rises and falls, but no direct rain hits the stored wood.
Maximum airflow with minimum direct water contact.
I believe this is called seasoning:kiss:

:funny::funny: You don't get the horizontal rain that we get in the frozen North then Neil. If I did that here I'd be calling it the "rotting" shed. :whistling:

Just joking, might pinch the idea if you've no objections.

No objections at all Bob.
Most air drying sheds have no sides at all. The gaps between the planks on this one are about 2". It makes no difference whether the rain runs down the inside, or the outside of the planks, as long as it doesn't directly hit the stored timber, or pool on the floor.
You might want to make the gaps a bit smaller in your neck of the woods.:whistling:

I did have to rectify a couple of snags with this one, purely by it's position. I'll happily share them once the article has run.

That is one nice wood shed Neil wish I had the room to put one up that size.
I have half of a very small wood store I made the back wall as you have done Neil, that was 7 years ago still must put a roof on as well as a front. What about the sides I hear you ask well it is between two sheds.
