I don’t mind you posting this at all Kevin. You get 10 out of 10 for this one. I held your turnings earlier this month & was very impressed at the way they’ve turned out I really likes your little goblet, your other pieces were excellent too. Keep experimenting as it’s making you a better turner. I admire your efforts mate.:thumbs:

Have you thought about incorporating fabric in a pen blank....micarta style??

The use of fabric is an all round challenge for all of us.I for one appreciate the real efforts that you Kevin have put into these striking results.

This was a pair of jeans.... sandwiched with resin then pressed....the result is like plywood laminations of denim:thumbs:

Ah so it’s resin wrapped.... you have me wondering if powertex would actually turn... I have acidenlty turned it when I slipped on some trial pieces lol :funny: so not sure it would work like that ....
