Here's the mornings haul, a swift dozen before breakfast, suppose Woody's still in his pit??



The Makassar (or Asian Striped Ebony whichever it is) doesnt show up nearly as well via the camera as it does in the flesh. The Pens are, from the left:

European Oak x 3, Makassar Ebony x 3, Tambootie x 2, Sonokelling Rosewood x 2, Pommelle Sapele x 2.

Didn't get to sleep till 4 o'clock this morning again so yes fell out of the pit about 30 min ago I'm going to do a bit of real turning today I cut up a Cherry log and am going to make a natural edge bowl and vase from it as soon as I have had my liquid intake :ave_it::ave_it:

That pommele Sapele looks stunning! Nice haul, Neil. If Woody drops dead in front of his lathe this afternoon we'll all blame you, you know that? :wink:
