I've been making some Xmas pens inspired by our great Woody, and my wife is busy applying the nail decals. I wanted ask you, Woody, how best to apply the spray lacquer? Do you put the barrels back on the mandrel and spray with the lathe on or how off and turn it by hand?
Or use something else to hold the barrels?
