Just in case you are looking forward to the summer time this week I understand that its coming up from my part of the country.... well, this weekend I was doing a demo in a vineyard, yesterday was 35 in the shade today 37. The only cool place was at dinner at 2000 hrs in the winery , it got down to 28, those stainless steel vats are all full of wine and there were 300 sat down for dinner (with wine) !! As I was turning the shavings were sticking to me so beware a lot of heat is coming your way.

Even though we are in chill time the sun is giving us around 16 C during the shortened day. That small fan unit under the tiles in the roof sure is welcome in our place, seven inlets into the house.

It's not expected to go above 25° here in Dorset which is fine by me. Glad I'm not in Spain though, due to get up to 44° there which is a bit hot!

Yes but the difference here is that it seems like that all year round although I'm sat here​ in 30°C at the moment but it's back to normal by Wednesday [emoji45]

It's all relative. We went to Sweden in 2010, and -10 was a lot more pleasant there than +5 at Manchester airport when we returned! A Finnish friend suffers from the cold here, but has no problem when she returns to her own country that can be many degrees lower! It's 24.9 here in the shade at this time.

For us the chill factor is serious due to the near mountains that hold snow not far from us. So far this year we are using cenral heating less with up to 18 degrees C achieved with the heat in our roof blown through the house, we are about our coldest month ie July then August builds up to the first of September Spring. Gas will cand electricity increases by 300 dolls per annum shortly.
