Hi

Anyone know what the wood is? It’s all tree wood to me unless it’s got a sticker on it.. :thinks: .I know you need better photos and details of the end grain .... might take it to our club tomorrow with some the the off cuts see if anyone knows..

Have been having a go at turning some wooden T-Light holders I think of them as UFO spaceship shaped..

The one on the lathe I have had to sand again.... I keep hearing Bill Mooney in my head telling me if it does not look like it’s not .... do it again... :goesred:

Kevin

Keeping busy I see. To add to Bills comment to you in the past. Sand with the lathe off and with the grain after sanding with it running doing this for every grit. And don,t apply the finish with the lathe running or put too much on in one go thin coats is better than one thick coat.
