One-piece rather than two, makes a much nicer pencil in my opinion.

Finished using Phil's Melamine method

I like that, did a few workshop pencils in the past, the only point of the CB is usually to stop the thing rolling off the bench on to the floor..:goesred:

But I do agree I do like it without, shows the wood off well.

Visually straight uninterupted wins every time, on the bench the Centre Band wins every time ,I agree. You beat that tough timber (for me), tamed it and ended with a beaut Pencil Graham.
