Yellow Box is a cranky grain tough timber we battled to cut with the axe gave out so much heat you had to be careful with it as firewood would distort fire boxes and do no end of damage to slow combustion stoves and in later years in burl form not so common it turns up trumps. Nice pen Jim. There are a couple growing in my street that started life a couple of hundred years ago.
