Yew has to be among the top woods for character and the clock is top notch too init?

Clock is 4 inches and the base is just under 6 inches diameter

Very delicate and beautiful mate clock faces are personal choices. The timber is special and yes I do like the turning so much beauty in the Yew.

That's a beautiful clock. The yew heart wood & sap wood make a nice contrast & the finish is great.:thumbs:

Beautiful, Yew is so nice but not one I can do a lot with as I always manage to get it to split. A superb job Alan.:thumbs:

That is a super bit of turning Alan, i love the way you have used the grain in the top piece with both wood and sap being quartered .. :thumbs:
