Yew clock

I bought a small lump of Yew (190x160x30mm) last month

And decided to fit a clock insert into it

I thought about finishing the wood with spray acrylic lacquer,
but opted for friction polish instead

Yew is such a great wood and the clock goes well with the grain. It is well made and finished
