Don't match up as bottom bit split when inserting ink so had to use another bit i found, Still it writes so will keep it for the shed and be bloody careful next time

Bad day for me too, cracked a bottom half inserting the nib and then cracked the top half fitting the clip top!! Shame, it was on a home-made cast blank too.

At least it's the same wood mate, and it writes. So not a total loss eh? Still a well turned pen.

That is tough BH, hate this when it happens, but what i do to stop it happening is to make sure that the tube ends a clear from any dried glue and adding a tiny amount of wax to the end of the mech to help with the entry .. The pen doesn't look out of place so well done on the recovery ...

Thanks Guys! yep i didn't take enough care, i do usually use a tiny drop of liquid soap or liquid paraffin on the end of the mech but forgot, age thing you know, sometimes have a job rem what me bloody name is!
