We have had a spate of Yew bits of late and that doesn't disappoint... Nice to see the return of your boxes too... Very nice mate šŸ˜šŸ˜

Nice, Eamonn. That's a very clean looking piece of yew.
All the yew that I have has a lot of shakes and is splintery.
How was yours?
Hi Alan, the piece I had was 140cm x 45cm and 4.5cm thick it had been kiln dried and was at 17% moisture when I got it so wasn't too bad. That was until I started to make some boxes out of it, then it wanted to move in all directions. I still have one that has been made up that now has a lid with a 2mm gap on one side. :rolling:
