This is the first time that i used this plastic which i bought last week from a shop in Wakefield which is 1mm thick, all the other white plastic that i have is around 0.9mm which does throw off the cross as the kerf of the bandsaw blade is 1mm ... But i made a mess of this pen by undercutting the nib end a fraction and took away to much wood at the clip end .. Well a mate will be happy with this freebie i hope ...

Celtic Cross is lovely Jim, stands out nice from the Yew.
Shame about the nib end.

Just a thought, dis-assemble the nib end and add a bit of the white plastic like a washer. :bwink::wink:

Lovely cross, I haven't tried plastic yet. Rowdy's suggestion sounds good with regards to the nib end.
