Very nice Alex, personally I prefer them with a bit of a belly as opposed to a straight pen, the bushes are 12.15mm od, I turn my middles to about 13.2, I think it gives i a bit more fluidity with the shape of the fittings, notably the top.

Nice one Alex, I'm with Neil on this but you're right that some people would prefer it like that. Very nice piece of wood.

That is one good looking pen Alex well done you fat or thin it is all personal choice we all need to do what makes us happy
