Yes it is comes under two part epoxy glue it is just a trade name and is one of the three different methods people use to fix tubes into their blanks

Yes a few of us use it. It’s gap filling but non foaming like Polyurethane so less mess, and is not brittle like CA glue.

I will be asking questions later like, now that they are all glued up what size do I need to drill out the tubes that I filled with glue to fit the pen parts

Well done - seeing that made me feel at home. I have a similar system in place that uses 'off-peak' time at the kitchen table plus umpteen niches, places for stuff in various levels of completion.

Not a normal sight to see me making pens quite often months between making another one hence Phil's comment earlier. I am normally making either models or turning some bowls etc. I also have 20 items to turn for a demo I am giving at our woodturning club as well as turning things for our club competition have the first one done redy for this Saturday

I will have to wing it not a pen turning book in sight(sorry [MENTION=95]Walter[/MENTION] not even yours) so you could see one or two frankinpens well I just could call them steam punk pens. Went out to the shed and it is nice and warm in there.

I have been using it for years normally I get the 24hour stuff but most places seem to sell the 15 minute or 5 minute set time ones now
