I bought some threading tools about a year ago and still have not played with them firstly due to not being able to stand at the lathe and secondly other projects keep getting in the way. Will have to see what I can do this year

Kevin your whimsical approach I admire with a crafty wife forever I know yours is just or more thrilled than we are.That timber is lovely,warm and clean cut ready to serve. I was tempted to break into verse but recognize the box is special.

Oooh, that's a great idea Kevin - I like it a lot. Queue the inevitable pun fest of course, but is that super nice piece of beech, or I suppose it's too much to hope it's made from lacewood.
