I will cast in two stages. I will pour the first 3/8" and let it set. I will then pour the next 3/8" adding the next layer of cones.
I will use the Ultra Sonic after each pour and hope it goes well :nooidea:

Won't that produce a joint line? It does when we're pouring concrete at work

No. Just keep the mould in a clear plastic bag overnight this stops any dust etc settling on this surface. When you pour the next layer all should be well
I must mix my resin more accurately than you mix your concrete :funny:
