Had a go at a Zeta, think I prefer the slimlines personally but can see why they sell well. Lovely pen kit :)

I rushed the finish on this one and I'm not happy with the CA finish at all, it was cold and I wanted to finish it. Another lesson learnt.
Also the clip didn't go in square and there's a small gap that wouldn't close up.

If you're not satisfied with it, James, why don't you disassemble it and improve the finish? I did that recently with a pen I wasn't happy with and, after a few fresh coats of CA, a finishing coat of plastic polish and a careful reassembly, it looked so good that it sold two days later!

Looks nicely turned but as Bob said it your not satisfied dismantle and do it again. I have always found that I felt better doing that than having to live with it. I often struggle with CA and end up sanding it off and doing it again, so I feel for you.

As Bob says James, if your not happy with it these pens are easily dissembled to allow modifications ..

Looks good to me though .. :winking:

Nicely turned and finished Jim
A bit bulbous in the middle for me, but hey wouldn't it be boring if we all liked the same things in life

Do people actually buy all these pens? :thinks::thinks::thinks::duh:and heres me giving them away

You give them them away :shocking:
The only ones I have given away are to family and they usually want to pay something.
I find Zeta's sell easily enough at £30
