So, having realised that the Hope hollowing tool reaches it's limit about 5 inches in, I was wondering about getting the Crown Revolution hollowing tool.

Anyone use one ? Thoughts, opinions advice welcome.

1/2 or the 5/8 ? What's the pros and cons?

Cheers in advance.

I have the crown and am impressed with it. It comes with plenty of cutters which i did have to touch up when I first received it but this was only a couple of swipes on a diamond card. I Ordered the 5/8" shaft as well so have both the cutting heads are interchangeable so no need to buy extra ones unless you really want to. The 1/2" shaft just gives that little more room in small holes.

I have the R/S one and I have gone in 14" with it Jim and Walter have the crown mini rev and I have ordered one from Dan for smaller stuff also I think the cutter on the R/S tool is a better design

Bloody hell Paul, you've been busy.
Can't thank you enough for this.:banana::banana:
I've a few bids already logged to send you for some of the other stuff.

No problem Neil, I'm slowly plodding through them.

I had the 1/2" full size tool, and it worked well. Would have upgraded to the 5/8" as I found some vibration on the 1/2" but that was at the limit. All in all a pretty good bit of kit:thumbs:
