    So, after leaving the cracked Oak blank to one side, I turned this small bowl (about 8" diameter) for my daughter-in-law's 30th birthday. Finished with melamine and carnauba wax.

    9" bowl from a lovely Oak blank which Vic gave me when I met him last week. I've not turned many bowls, so I kept it simple and finished it with melamine. I don't know about you folks, but I really enjoy turning stuff when I know who is receiving it. It feels so very personal and "connected"...

    Pair of Skulls

    These are PSI Skull pens, in antique copper. The blanks are Rhinos, called Marinara Sauce. One is for my sister's birthday present, and the other is for my friend Hanna's. I think the blanks really compliment the antique copper finish.

    Motorcycle Midnight Racer

    My first Motorcycle Pen. The blank is called Midnight Racer. I made this for my barber, Frank's, 70th birthday. He's been riding Harleys since he was a teenager. I do wish I had painted the tube black.
