This is a pen I cast a few weeks ago using some hair from My two daughters clippings, I first painted the tubes White then made a blank from clear Polyester resin and the hair. Then I got to thinking, maybe there is a market for babies first hair cut pens. :thinks::thinks:

Hi all This is my first post but have been making pens for some time, for this pen I made my own blank from pencils and epoxy resin. No doubt if you have tried making pens with a pencil type blank you will know they are a challenge to turn in the lathe.

Here are todays efforts dark coloured blank from Pen Moulds and Blanks and the yellow blank from else where but I can't remember. Only difference with these after sanding with micro mesh to 12000 I applied a coat of Microcrystalline wax, then buffed with a soft cloth.
