First turnings since March 2020. The first two blanks were kindly donated by David Shepherdson so I don’t know what the timbers are. The next two blanks are xcut Oak. The next blank is cocobolo donated by Mike Wilson. The last blank is unknown timber.

So I have turned this pen it was going to be a set of four BUT the first blank exploded on me so I am only going to make one with these blanks Any way here is the finish rollerball pen. this pen is a gift for a friend As always C&C most welcome James

I have been stabilizing blanks like a mad man. Today's effort produced 65 figured, spalted Maple burr blanks. Within the last month I have stabilized 600+ blanks using 7 gallons of cactus juice. All blanks are sent to Exotic Blanks for sale.

So last year I made a river table for my son and I have quite a lot of resin left over would I be able to use the resin to make some blanks with out a pressure pot and can you thread polyester I'm not going to make any blanks until the weather warms up anyway James

Scored 275 salted Sycamore blanks and now starting a marathon session to get everything stabilized. Using my high tec pickle jar stabilizing pot and Cactus Juice. I bake the blanks at 150 overnight to assure 0% moisture. It's going to take a while.
