Hi all :) This Christmas was a special one for my family, partly as it is unfortunately likely to be the last one with everyone there. I want to try and make some pens for the family from the wood of our Christmas tree. I have removed the branches and debarked about a meter of the trunk...

I spent a couple of hours in the shed on Christmas Eve and made myself an Inertia sander. I bought the head from Simon Hope a while back and had already made a straight handle for it. I then saw an angled version on the net I liked so thought I’d make one.

Sorry Farther Christmas couldnt make this year, he sampled too many beers!

The Mrs has been hinting about a new coat for a while now. She said she fancied some kind of animal skin one as they are supposed to be warmer. I have really pushed the boat out and got her this . I am sure she will be overjoyed on Christmas Morning when she opens my present to her.
