epsilon

I couldn't make my mind up what to put on this Epsilon so SWMBO said I should try this blank which I think I got given by Woody.

Last weekend i had a couple of days back in the shed making pens, the past few months i visited the place made a few blanks and just sat in there until i got hungry, which was only a few hours .. :goesred: Anyway i thought it was about time i started placing some kits onto the blanks i made...

I turned these a couple of weeks ago, but haven't had chance to do anything with them. It was my first time using these kits, and I must say, I like them a lot. I had thought I preferred the Epsilon, but once made up, I think I'm edging towards the Zeta - which I also found easier to put together.

I bought some of the Olive blanks from woodwiseuk and decided to try it on a Gold TM Epsilon, what a nice kit! Finished using Phil's Melamine method :thumbs:

Pen kit - TM Epsilon Jacket - Green Acrylic Finish - through MM and resin polish finish Oh, I do make wooden ones as well...:face: Only doing last few commissioned ones at moment..So have no say in it.. init.:rolling:

Had my first go with burr pen blanks today from Aussie Burr's. Fitted to an Epsilon and a Zeta kit. 2 coats of sanding sealer then 2 coats of paste wax and a final 2 passes with a carnuba wax stick. Also managed to do a slim line pencil kit in yew. with a golfing club clip for a friend.

First one of these I have made and I like them, will be doing more.
