This is the last Levech I have turned with a PSI double dyed Maple blank. It has a very deep dark blue colour and was a pain to finish showing every mark or scratch... Happy now but had to take a picture in the sun as it absorbs light and you can't see the details in it.

My preference for finish is just microcrystalline wax...
I like these to be tactile and used and love to see patina build up on these. I have used acrylic laquer spray and Krylon (bake on spray for guns) but only if decorative finish requested...

I learnt that there is actually more than 1 type of sanding sealer :iknow:
In addition to the shellac Sanding Sealer their is a cellulose one...
