After my mishap with the acrylic lid on my cook pot style vacuum degassing chamber, I've finally finished making my own version of Juiceproof Stabilising Chambers, along with a couple of my own unique accessories!

I finished a mixed batch of pens yesterday
Five of them Sierras and one Phoenix
They are, from the top: Sierra's in English Walnut, Almond (2), Olive Root, Spalted Beech and a Phoenix in ?

I used Opti cast resin and Alumilite colours.
I Didn't use micro mesh on this kit. Sanded to 1200 and then finished with the two mops.

After 4 weeks at sea I came home on Wednesday to an order for 1 of these needed asap.

Not been doing much for the last couple of weeks as I have been laid up with Gout :sob:
Managed to get this finished over the last couple of days.
10" diam Spalted Sycamore finished with Danish Oil and Microcrystaline wax.
Just finished this pen today it's stabilised red scyamore blank from Mr resin blanks on a Taylor midfield omega finished with a melamine laquer and microcrystalline wax

I'm calling this a needle pot, but I will probably keep tooth picks in it. My lack of turning experience shows, but I enjoyed doing the pyrography. I finished it with CA, but will try melamine on my next effort.
