I just got my woodturning magazine today and I knew that "The Glade" piece of mine was going to be in there but also surprised to see another piece in the "From the forum".
So I am very pleased
It is with much regret to inform you because of the way I have been treated by another Forum I am after taken note of many people who have a lot of profession experience of Forums to stop all my dealings with forums.
I have made many friends on this forum and gained a lot of experiences and I am...
Hi everyone.
Fairly new to Pen Turning and General woodworking to be honest.
My son got me into turning and I found making pens seems to be my favourite pass time

Hi all,
I'm a penmaker based in Brussels. My nickname on the IAP forum is ChrisK. I tried to use the same on here but seemingly ChrisK was already in use.
I'm glad to be a member of this neighbouring penmakers forum.
Regards.
Christos.
I have been a hobby woodworker for a few years.
Pen Turning is something I was introduced to by a friend only recently. I don't do a lot, in fact to date I have only made 30 pens and 1 pencil. I love turning pens but so far I have only turned the slim line. Just about to try some key rings in...

Anyone contacted or ordered from Dan lately?
I have had a reply from him a week or so ago, then nothing.
His website has a lot of 'Sold Out' items.
Not seen much on the forum from him lately, just wondered if he is winding down?
Hi all,
Was told about this forum by another member. I am relatively new to pen turning so it's good to find a place to get help when needed. Been looking around and have learned quite a bit already about casting blanks as this is something I would like to try.
What's happened to all the pens guys and girls?
Over 1700 members - about 100 of us on average logging in each day - roughly 3 or 4 times that number browsing the forum without logging on. Lots of great discussions about tools and techniques, but where are all the pens? Have we all given up...
