Morning all,
Took delivery of my new air cleaner on Friday, cleared a shelf yesterday and got it mounted, my wife could dry her hair with this thing on high speed, love it.
Tested the timer yesterday while we went out for a lunch and a couple of jars, came back and found the blighter still...
I did make a post earlier on this asking about the south. I have just come across this list on another site i thought it might be useful to some of you.

Well my back will not let me stand for long to do any woodwork of any kind, so I found some modelling ply left over from my days making radio controlled boats. Anyway I thought I would have a play with my new Birthday present and get a little practice in on using it.

I have just bought 12 400ml cans of CA Activator and it is the lowest price I have ever seen apart from the No Nonsense Activator that is no longer available. I have used this brand before and haven't found a problem with it, I think I paid slightly more for my last 12 tins of 200ml Soudal.

Look what I found hidden in some logs. I have just finished cutting up the logs into squares and put them through my thicknesser to get them nice and flat as the chainsaw does not always cut square. I will now cut them on the bandsaw into rounds where needed, could not do them today as the blade...
I have been hunting for 25mm pen blanks about 135mm long. Why are they so rare over here, what there is has a very poor selection.
One site i found wanter £14.75 per blank !! wow that expensive. I have found some but the selection was quite poor but the price was reasonable from Woodturning...

I come from an engineering background and holding the cutting tool is a major no no.
I started making pens last summer and then stopped because i found acrylic to tricky in that it would break out when drilling it or shatter when turning.
