This is the 1st Scirocco for me. It's a gold/gunmetal version dressed with yew from Neil Lawton and an Padaux Celtic Cross inlay.
Very nice kit as allways from Phil, great quality plating and very smooth working transmission ! No need to dissassemble the body for changing the refill...
Well had a great day today I managed at least 2 hours before having to give up, No turning however as I am still working on the truck, made the clearance lights and the complete tail light board. It will soon be finished and I want to get and turn a pen or two.

I have been given an axminster precision pen turning lathe which comes with a 24x1 collet and axminster evolution mandrel. I have my full size lathe as well am am finding this second small lathe is great for doing my pens. The collet system is great but I would live to be able to drill my blanks...

Made my first set of wedding pens. Very easy to turn and finish. These came from penbitszand kits. Made both from start to finish in one afternoon. No sealing or waxing, great!
One is a Empress and the other a Alpha chrome and gold.
