I tried the other kit I had of a shock absorber pen, whilst turning it near the finish my hand twitched. The good news is that I found a 3rd kit to go at. I will give it a try once I get better at making the pens using callipers.

Evening again,a pen this time.Its a chrome Mysterious Sky rollerball in Iroko.Quite a bland wood but a nice colour.A good kit to make,I really like the cap finial and centreband detailing.C&c's welcome
