Just wanted to take the plainness off a bit of corian on a slimline. So incorporated a piece of acrylic to the bottom section also this gets away from the wasp waist. On finishing it the wife nice ladies pen, think she's spot on.
On a slimline the corian is not to heavy so my do a couple of more...
Hi all
Just wondered how you store the pens you make.
I’ve looked around and there are many options but I’m looking for your recommendations.
Ideally I’d like a small set of drawers which can hold say 20-30 pens. I’d like it to be fairly nice looking in wood if possible. Or any other ideas...
Hello fellow Pennoisseurs, hope you are all keeping safe and well.
Here's a commissioned Sirocco pen I made this week.
The leather is veg tan with a hand painted lizard. It was nice to put my tiny artist brushes to good use again
Thought I would just have fun Yesterday and nearly got carried away watching the nice long shaving flying off. This is from a Cherry tree I took down last year turned wet. And then wet sanded with lemon oil the workshop does smell nice now but the downside I now need to go and clean up after my...

One from sat afternoon.
A princess pen.
Due to the pink acrylic I painted the tubes white and then rolled
them in some pink glitter before gluing them in.
Can’t really see the glitter on the pic but looks nice.
Hi all,
Just made a Tempest RB pen from Beaufort Ink. I chose the upgrade gold and very nice it is too.
What does upgrade gold mean? I have absolutely no idea.
Cheers

Hi everyone,
This is the result of my last efforts in the workshop. An aussie burl, not as nice and rare as the ones Penpal is showing these days, but a nice brown mallee nevertheless, that deserved to get rid of most metallic parts. Based on a Jr gent kit.
C&c very welcome. Enjoy!
Hi all, been a while for me.....I have been doing some wooden bits.....well back to acrylic and I think with a nice one.......my favourite Mik Lawrence....on a stainless Shakespeare mkii
Hi Guys, It's people that make this forum what it is and help and advice is always on tap. Today I visited a local craft market where I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow pen turner.......Tony ' Unique' a very warm welcome was given and plesentrys exchanged......I wished I had had a bit more...
Had a problem yesterday that I haven't had before, 2 streamline pens that I was assembling had loose top caps, not really sure how this happened but can only assume that I have somehow oversized the end of the brass tube, nibs were fine & so is the fit on the twist mechanism.
Although I am still...
4 Prozx, very under rated kit in my opinion. Nice weight, nice decoration and easy to turn. Perfect for a novice, just make sure you get the center band and clip right.

I needed a holder for my canal & river trust licence. I decided to use the old logo's of the C&RT and the British Waterways.
It was a nice project and it was great to get back on the scrollsaw.
