I have an order for 2 pens in Bethlehem Olive Wood and had 2 blanks for these, but one of the blanks must have had a weekness and bew apart on the lathe so I now urgently need a replacement. Does anyone on here have any that I could buy? Many thanks Ian

I wasn't going to show this because it is a failure. It is a modified slimline with an olive wood blank. It's a failure because it was supposed to have a bumpy grip between the lower burnt lines. It was trying out a technique used by Japanese netsuke carvers to raise bumps on a piece of wood. I...

Many years ago I was given a one off access to an abandoned Olive Grove, the trees had been polled at about 8 feet, infested with ants in a drought time. I cut a trailer load brought them home from about 3 hrs away. Grain was fickle but loved this blank. Peter.:goesred:
