Hi Chaps,
My first visit and first post. I have only recently started turning pens and have become addicted! I also acquired a casting pot with the lofty (and perhaps foolhardy) ambition of casting unusual hybrids and would welcome some advice. My questions:-
1. I have tried epoxy resin so...

Hi All
I'm after a bit of help, I'm trying to locate pen kits that use resin/ebonite parts rather than chrome/gold etc.
I have found one set by pen-kits.co.uk called Winston but that the only one I can find does anyone know of any others.
Thanks
Paul
This is part 1 of a 2 part wedding set I have planned.
This is the rollerball for the guests to sign the guest register. Part 2 will be a fountain pen for the bride and groom to sign their lives away.

Took for ever to get this far but at last I have my lathe set up, not in my workshop ( still got to build that) but in my loft/ gunroom , I am resisting the urge to crack on but decided to leave it till tomorrow as i need to get the blanks perfectly square and drill through perfectly central, as...
I am brand new to this I made a bullet pen that turned out OK. This fired me up to have another go. Up to now I have spent a few bob on gouges kits tooling etc so I thought it was time to make some pens and see the results of my out lay. I cut and drilled several blanks.
Getting them square and...
