i got out to the shed at 10 am, cant do it before cos my neighbour cant bear the noise of someone having fun. by 10.15 am the sun has come over and my shed magically turns into a ceramics curing kiln..it stays at that temperature till around 7 pm when the sun dips behind said neighbours garage...
When I'm not playing on my lathe, I earn a living as a truck driver, the other day I had the good fortune to have a collection from Sykes Timber in Atherstone ( www.sykestimber.co.uk ). Casually mentioned to the owner that I would love to have an hour to myself in the sheds with a hand saw...

Its taken over a year now but we are in our new home and the "Shed" at the bottom of the garden is now a workshop
Looks a bit different now as we have a path leading up to it and another "Shed" by the side of it but its slowly turning out to be a decent workshop :thumbs:

Got a bit fed up spinning wood so I thought what can I do for a change. I have a load of pallet wood lying around and the Mrs has been on at me for ages to have a go at some garden furniture. Had a couple of hours in me shed and came up with this beauty.

I have come to the conclusion that gardening is overrated. I spent half of today planting seeds in pots to a total of 84 individual pots. I could have spent that time in the shed. I did, however, persuade the wife to mow the back...
