Hi Guys Anyone going to the Harrogate Wood turning show next month. I will be there on the Friday.

Finally. Not overly impressed with kit, and it's a bit blingy, but I'm happy with it.. Hand carved from a bit of pallet wood.. It doesn't show the scales like I thought it would as they look painted on, but they are carved.

has arrived..and it worked :banana::banana::banana: proof of concept is confirmed, my execution of it isnt, but the next one will be better i think its a gorgeous piece as it stands, but if you want to, watch this video first then go to the next one...that one explains it all PS..this one isnt...

Thanks to Neil and Gary for taking my stock of pen kits - I found a couple of extras and couldn’t resist making them up as a swan song ? First one is an alpha with bog oak and elm and the other is a mistral with self cast of paua shell and black resin. I made about 20 of the Paua shell blanks...

My neighbour, with minimal instruction and supervision, made her first pen yesterday using flame maple. I told her that I would show it off for her.

Have got a couple of round top premium pens, but their are a few different bits to the previous ones I’ve done. Looked online but kit instructions don’t show the bits I’ve circled.... Cheers in advance to helping this noob...

Hi all, I saw a similar pen on here posted by Leather Lass, and I really liked it, a cheaky PM and Christine said she would make me one. Thank you SOOOOO much it's way better than the pics show and the stitches are fantastic, this will be my new EDC pen WOW!

I just love the Harrogate show, meeting up with old friends and new. I'll be there on the Saturday. Anyone else going?
