this is a slow burning project. I need a kit that is as straight as possible- ideally the barrel will have bushings that are the same size each end and the cap the same size each end. I need at least 1mm of wood in thickness when turned. Any suggestions? the alpha might work, but I don't know...

Hi, Hope all are well. I am slightly confused about bushings. I realise that the size of the bush dictates the minimum diameter of the pen being turned I and also realise that one end of the pen may have a different diameter to the other, therefore different bushings of different sizes...

Stop it you dirty minded people. today I have been to the 2017 Woodfest event down here in kent and found some banksia nuts for sale at 3 for £10 and as can be seen quite a nice size. Axminster are also here with a small gazebo also selling them at £6.95 each and they where smaller.

Turned a small lidded box from lime and burnt a shoal of fish on it. The lid is inserted so that it doesn't break up the image on the side of the pot. The size is 3 inches x 3inches. George
