Finally got in the workshop today and had a play.
My first attempt at black lines through acrylic and to be honest I think they came out ok.
Can’t wait to turn them and see what they are like ?

Due to an old spine injury playing up again I haven't been doing too much in the shed lately. But I did manage to spin this Zeta today. It's PR and I'm fairly chuffed as it's my first attempt at making my own blank.

Well having got the walnut home it was time to rough cut ready for conversion into turning material. So this is where I am at as of today, I would have been further ahead but Saturday I spent the day at our turning club watching a demo by Mark Sanger, then yesterday I was out with the wife...
I made this one today unfortunately they sold me the wrong bushings with the kit so I had to make a set of bushings myself. It did not come out exactly as I would of liked. I will make another set of bushings and have another go. The nib end is out I think it spoils the pen.
