First pen, Slimline in Oak. Have made a few more since from wood, resin and corian, but always proud of your first make.

Making thin Slimlines is a gamble because the veneer thickness of timer etc is inclined to problems,in the event this your first is a boost. The turning to the fittings is great.

I like turning wood, its mostly easier than the other two. Though resin does make a nice pen when everything goes right, it can be a pig to work at times. I do like the corian though, it has a nice cool feel when you first pick up the pen and takes a nice finish.
I will post more pics when I remember to.
