I like to see these solutions they gladden the heart sometimes stumbling up against a task and finding these things can be devastating. Well saved.

Nicely finished pen Billy! I've picked up a couple of these blanks to use with Omega/Knurl GT kits for wedding present for a couple of friends - did you need to paint the tubes at all ? It looks dense enough to me that it probably isn't required but thought you might be able to shed more light on it.

I've got into the habit of painting all tubes that are to be used with acrylics, they might not all need it but...........
