Take a guess
I turned some pens from ply like this years ago, I didn't really like the effect but they disappeared quick enough so someone must have liked them.

Brian kindly gave me some military ply from Afghanistan with which I made some pens and sold them to raise funds for H4H and it was as tough as old boots

Ooooh no, you're not getting away with it that easy Woody, sadly the binding phenol resin was impregnated with a few mega tone of presure and there is loads of the stuff bonding it all together. Its tougher than Brians old boots, believe me!! Its from the toolpost, its their Tigerwood (Project_Materials), tougher than dymondwood and the awful laminates from Axminster, you'll enjoy this one Woody! Mask essential for this one, the resin powder dont smell too good and tastes awful!

Thanks for the warning Neil to be honest I'm looking forward to the challenge first a few pens then a small box I have turned dymondwood before and it didn't impress me at all in fact I didn't like it one little bit
